It can easily be done by one person, usually. As far as I know, the early bolts were regular bolts, and holding the head (under the vehicle) while tightening the nut in the engine compartment is a problem. Later, a special bolt with a sot of half-moon head would not turn when you put on the

I have the official factory manual, but it seems a bit sparse in the section where you new to replace the starter. Any tips from anybody who has done this before? It mentioned it being a 2 person job with some mysterious bolt involved within the engine compartment itself. Let me know, Kyle On

Kyle, Not mysterious at all. Disconnect battery. Disconnect wiring to the starter. The engine to transmission bolt above #1 cylinder has to come out and one other bolt on bottom of the starter. Starter should wiggle straight out toward the front of the car. Clean all connectors going to
