Hello, You have two options. 1) Use a headset. If you have a headset plugged in to your iPhone, the touch-screen remains active so you can enter numbers. 2) Pull the iPhone away from your face so it switches to speakerphone. The iPhone has a proximity sensor just below the ear speaker slit.
