Hello,

You have two options.

1) Use a headset. If you have a headset plugged in to your iPhone, the
touch-screen remains active so you can enter numbers.

2) Pull the iPhone away from your face so it switches to speakerphone. The
iPhone has a proximity sensor just below the ear speaker slit. When something
is close to the proximity sensor during a call, the touch-screen is deactivated
to keep you from accidentally activating buttons with your face. When VO is
running and you take the phone away from your face, the iPhone automatically
switches to speakerphone and the touch-screen is activated. There is an
occasional bug where VO doesn't release the touch-screen during a call. If this
happens, block and unblock the proximity sensor a couple times and it should
deactivate properly switching the iPhone to speakerphone.
