This speech off feature is useful for braille display users who would like to read without speech talking, such as maybe reading a Kindle book. The braille displays won't run without Voiceover active. Also Voiceover sometimes talks when you don't want it to, such as during video playback.

Wel, it only looks at its own folder on dropbox. It also only uses .txt files. If you go to Dropbox and copy the notes you have there into the apps/accessnote folder, they will all sync. I’m not sure how else to do that with that app. Perhaps someone else has a better idea. Richard From:
