How much do you pay for the insurance from your phone company? Others I've talked with before about phone insurance paid about $10 a month for coverage which wasn't as thorough as AppleCare Plus which for $130 over 24 months comes to $5.15 a month. I agree you certainly don't need both. Alan

Have you ever started with Apple Accessibility when placing a claim? I worked with them on an iPad Mini that couldn’t maintain a connection to Wi-Fi. After trying everything including going to an Apple store and having them reinstall the operating system, it still wasn’t working correctly.
