How much do you pay for the insurance from your phone company? Others I've talked with before about phone insurance paid about $10 a month for coverage which wasn't as thorough as AppleCare Plus which for $130 over 24 months comes to $5.15 a month. I agree you certainly don't need both.

I can't justify paying another 130 for apple care when getting my phone, plus the one year warranty is normally fine.
