Can anybody tell me whether or not the VeSync app and theEtekcity Bluetooth
scale are conveniently accessible via voiceover?
And, of course, I would like to know if I would be able to read the
measurements from the scale via voiceover on my iPhone.
Thanks for any insight anybody can offer
I don't lock mine because I have at least one app with a reward card barcode
where I can very easily and quickly access the barcode to be scanned by
rotating the phone. Yes, occasionally it flips when I don't want, but it's not
hard to hold it vertical for a second to get it to flip back.

It sounds like the complications are getting the data from your phone which
means if your phone isn't in range the data cannot be

Cheers,

It depends on the features. BlindSquare offers location information
I haven't had much problem there at all, but did follow the easy instructions
to go ahead and lock the thing.

Certainly, there is because, if you don't, every time you move the phone, it
will switch from
"portrait" to "landscape" and back again, and this, voice-over will tell you
about: a right royal

I always lock orientation because I have no vision and never want it flipping
to landscape because I tilted the phone.
With VoiceOver, if you are reading an email, or a web page, etc., and happen to
tilt the phone, reading is interrupted by it switching to landscape mode.
Also, for apps like

While walking, Lazarillo does well for free.
Also, Apple Maps and Google maps have walking route options.
Lazarillo is like Blind Square, just much more simple, and basic.
But, finding someone with Blind Square and Nearby Explorer is a good suggestion
so you can get a feel of how they work with
I’ve use this app for years and love it. It is perfect to share grocery list,
to do list, etc. with family members.
I have never tried to connect it with my echo. Do you know if that is a paid

Good luck,

It depends on the features. BlindSquare offers location information
in a clock face format while Nearby Explorer just gives directional
information such as north, or east. Find a blind friend with both
installed on his iPhone and give each a test drive.

If you have an actual account with Spectrum, then you should be able to set up
access to that on their web site, and then use that user and password in the
app...but I’m just guessing on that. all the 0 sign on really does is pull the
user and password from the modem ... good luck!

You will likely get a variety of answers as one size does not fit all.
I would start with free apps.
Google Maps is my favorite for turn-by-turn directions while in a vehicle.
Lazarillo does a nice job for walking routes and general information on
orientation.
