I think it does. Plus, there are things that Alexa does better than Siri. I've often asked Alexa and Siri the exact same question. When Siri says, Look what I found on the web, alexa gives me the detailed information. And sometimes, Siri might give a better answer. Alexa has better (or cornier)

If you are very, very fast, you can press: Space+dot7+1 for command, space+dot7+4 for shift, and then the letter d. If you are like me and don’t want to try to rush that, you can press: Space+dot8+1 to toggle command on, Space+dot8+dot4 to toggle shift on, then hit the letter d. Then, toggle off
