Hi, The taptic time is working pretty reliably for me on my Apple Watch Series 7, thank goodness. I find that it helps to do the double tap gesture slightly more slowly than normal, i.e. leaving a slightly longer gap between the first and second tap, but not long enough for it to be interpreted
