I know of others who've dumped their wi-fi and just go with cellular. I don't know from experience, but if price, performance and bandwidth aren't an issue, I don't see why you couldn't go with whatever you want. I'd still want to have both myself, since I live in Texas, I've had situations

If you make international calls via Wi-Fi then those use data and they would still be free if the data used was coming from a cellular connection. The bigger issue are other devices, not too many people have only an iPhone, they may have an Apple TV, a laptop or even just an Alexa or Google

Sieghard, you missed my follow up message I think. It absolutely would not turn on using VoiceOver. But my sighted wife was able to enable it after I turned off VoiceOver. Now, all the custom tones are back.However, I still am not getting them to sound when new mail comes in. O well. Richard, USA
