or its subsidiary, then a phone does not need to be unlocked.
However, if one wishes to use multiple eSIM cards from non-partnered wireless

When I had an ATT eSim I had to reset. I chose keep sim but it crashed. Had to
go to the ATT store and get a physical sim.
