Instead of doing a global search in the app, I do the following. I go to the "more" tab and find my name near the top of the screen and double-tap it. The resulting area shows my posts. Just above my list of posts is a buttn that says "friends". When I double-tap that, the promps says "search yo

For the native facebook for iphone app, the search function is now on the mainpage, on the homepage, at the very top. If you type in your friends' name, all the names on facebook will appear, with people that you are friends with first, follow by strangers. For native Facebook for ipad app, the

Yes, Facebook rears its ugly head yet again. Yesterday, I needed to go to a particular friend’s Facebook page. I used to be able to click on my friends and there was a search friends field where you could easily type the friends name and it would pull up all your friends with that first name. so
