Hi Crista and all. I know this is an old thread but I want to add what I do.

up the things, I still have to write in english if its a reminder

Yep, i saw the comments. Let’s just hope Flexibits does localize after all,
since they’ve done a couple other languages.

No, I don't think yours is a silly idea at all. I was just explaining why it
might not be happening. Sorry for any confusion.

Krister,
I don't think you are being picky at all. I am an all too common US citizen who
only speaks English. Once upon a time I received a degree that said I was
fluent in German, but that was a very long time ago and I've forgotten most of
what I once knew. I have tremendous respect for
Part of the problem, as I see it, is the language parsing. Fantastical can
break up full sentences into appointment names, locations, times, repeat
intervals, and so on. Localization is just the translating of strings, so that
the string used to display information is in the right language.
Hi, Please do so and let me know what comes out of it. I can see that there’s a
great deal of work to be done if you want it localized, but won’t there be some
gain too? I mean they could make more money from more countries if their app
was localized, right? Did i say something silly now?

Krister,
That is a bummer. However, I don't even use that feature of Fantastical anymore
since I just use Siri, unless I want to create a repeating event. I've never
tried Siri for that. Even if I did not have the natural language feature with
Fantastical I still find it much much easier to
Can't use Siri either, not available in Sweden and probably won't be for a
very, very long time even though rumors have it that Apple is working on more
languages.

Other than the custom repeat function that's very useful in many ways like
repeat for 8 times every week, I also love the search feature.
Every once in a while the native calendar would garble the order of search
results for a repeating event and it would make it useless for me. This never
The problem with the feature allowing you to type a common sentence and have it
be translated into an appointment is that this only works in English, which is
a great big show stopper for me. In fact, i don’t understand why Fantastical is

Hey,
Just noticed Fantastical was updated again and now half price. I have heard
mixed on this app from the VoiceOver community, but am thinking about finally
buying it, wanted to see what people here thought of it. I rarely use the
calendar app on the iPhone as it is kind of a pain to use,
I love this app! I also can put a reminder in this app and it will come up on
my computer. I have a windows computer, and i don't know if the Mac is
accesssible or not. I heard no.
I like this update because it has keyboard shortcuts. They work wonderful also.

TO THE WORLD YOU ARE
Thanks Jenny. Great to hear the app works great probably going to check it out.

For me with low vision Fantastical has far better contrast and readability than

Hi,
What I love about Fantastical is you can write a sentence such as:
Appointment on Monday at 2:00 PM.
This will put in an event with those specifications. There are other sentences
you can say, but that is just an expample.
Yes, when you create an event, it is also on your native calendar,
I just bought the app 5 min ago and like it so far. I like how I can set
reminders every so often.

I absolutely love Fantastical on iOS. I think it is incredibly simple to use. I
only have one wish. When I touch a particular day in month view, I wish it
would also announce the day of the week instead of just the date. It's minor
though. :) It would just save me a bit of time when i am not
