Bluetooth keyboard won’t work because I can’t get past the four digit passcode
to unlock the phone. With or without a keyboard. As for A factory restore,
can’t do it without a trust acceptance on the phone. That’s been

Wht about the direct impact breaking it more and then dropping it in a bucket
of water for a few hours.

Here Here’s an update. I tried connecting my wife’s iPhone to my Windows 7
machine and holding the home and sleep buttons to begin the recovery mode
process. I thought I was doing well until the message still came up that I
would have to respond on the iPhone to facilitate the download and
I have an old iPhone 6 that belongs to my wife and we want to dispose of it
while making certain that all the data has been wiped. Unfortunately, the
screen of the phone is heavily damaged such that it can't really be read at
all and operating the phone through touch is all but impossible. I
