The numbers indicate the strength of the light.

hear is another request I know there are apps that can take you about by
transport but are there any for just walking? Janet

I also have a light detector app called boop. It seems to work well, but I
still like the old light detector app best. Maybe just because it’s familiar.

I've heard of another light detector app called Seeing Assistant, and
their suite of products. Though I don't use it often, I do also hope
the Light Detector app is continued to be developed, or at least
updated for 64 bit application support going forward.
