From what I understand this may not be accurate. VLC clearly says that it
downloads to your iPhone and also a wifi connection can be used so that music
is uploaded. When I did this it was clear that space was being taken up on my
actual iPhone. I certainly could somehow be mistaken and I am not
dropbox has its own music player for playing a whole folder of music in your
dropbox folder. If you are asking if there is an app that will allow you to
place music in dropbox to the actual music app on an iDevice then I have yet to
run across it.

uploaded with vlc listed when you open the music app that comes with the

There is no way to get music or other content on the iPhone without
jailbreaking. Yes, you can put music into a Dropbox folder and the Dropbox app
will actually play music files or there are any number of apps which might do
so and which you can use to play music.
