No. The three finger swipe to move by sentence only works in the selecting text
mode.
If you want to go back one sentence at a time without selecting text, make sure
the navigation unit is set to sentence, then touch the play button and flick up
with one finger.

That's were the thing. When I'm on the text (not text selection) and swipe up
with three fingers to move by sentence, it definitely goes beyond just one
sentence and goes past words that end in periods. So I might have to contact
VDR.
