No. The three finger swipe to move by sentence only works in the selecting text mode. If you want to go back one sentence at a time without selecting text, make sure the navigation unit is set to sentence, then touch the play button and flick up with one finger. Perhaps you need to read the manual section on selecting text again to be clear. If you are simply in the text and swipe up with three fingers that is the standard gesture for scrolling an entire screen. HTH, Richard
