Hi Kevin
We can get it to work with TiVo and SKy right now, working on BT cable and
Freeview.
Freeview will be the trickiest one in the UK which as I said is our first
market.
Do you currently own or use an IR device to connect your iphone to other

Hi Sieghard
The Bell app you are talking about that already controls viewing and PVR
recording; would that work with the Bell FIBE?

Hello Ron,

ago. In any case, if your receiver has network connectivity, i.e

As most appliances operated by remote control use IR to communicate;
you'd need some way for an IOS device to transmit IR.
I personally prefer a networked transmitter that does not attach to
any IOS device.

So, you would be happier if it worked via an IRtrans hub and controlled
more devices.
Our current design will not require additional IR support, because we will
be connecting directly to the cable boxes via your home's wifi / router.
Would having IR signal and requiring a dongle or trans hub
If I understand you correctly, if you connect directly to the box in
question, it will only work with boxes that allow this.
This is likely a small number.
Besides, there are many other devices people might wish to control
from blu-ray players to surround sound receivers.

Wow, this sounds awesome, I could theoretically give up my normal,

Hi Lou,

I think another key component would be to be able to switch audio sources on
the fly, from standard audio to the alternative audio sources to ensure
descriptive video comes through on the SAP channel.
Otherwise, what's the point of having a special remote? LOL.
