I have a 128 gb 7plus and only have about 30 gb free. I store a lot of
music, books, photos, and some video and audio. I could use the 512 gb
version for sure. The price is insane but all that storage space is
lovely. I am how ever waiting on my watch so this should calm my tech
craving for now.
Like Merv, I keep a lot of content locally, whilst I do have Apple Music
and Netflix, I like to download to the device.
Then there's the example given of know Internet access or loss of power
due to unforeseen circumstance.
From time to time, I also travel to visit my extended family in
a nifty new
iPhone. LOL.

have a 6S Plus with 64Gb and it's barely half full. I guess if you like to take
lots of 4K video or have tens of thousands of songs you want to store on your
iPhone it makes sense, but for the amount of music
