I’ll use my ipad mini 4 as long as I can. When I can no longer update to the
latest ios, I’ll get the Apple 9.7 inch model.

Afaik, iOs should work the same on all iPads, anything else would border on
being a bug. iPad Pro could well be the exception
mind. So it should come down to how physically Big do you want to have to
