Chip,
When booking your Uber Pool trip, and I'm assuming the same will be
true for Lyft Line, you will be asked how many seats you will need.
The choices are 1 or 2. Once you

Could you explain about what pool is? If both my wife and I want to ride
in the Uber do I need to schedule a pool ride or do something differently
for two of us?
Thanks,

I have used both, but now use lyft pretty much exclusively. Prices do vary,
even on the same trip. Prices are generally higher during the evening, but
last evening I took a trip
or Uber
Pool, the price for the 2nd passenger can very from 39 cents to $1.50.

Yes, you can track their progress or be working somewhere else on your phone
and it will alert you.

Hey guys,

Cheers,
I prefer Lyft, because I can tip drivers using my debit/credit card from within
the app, and don't need to carry cash. Uber won't let me tip drivers through
the app' which I find utterly stupid. I mean, even restaurants let you add tips
to your card.
Thanks,

Hello.
To answer your question about notification? Yes, the ap notifys you when a ride
is on the way, and if you keep the app opened... you can see ETA. Like how many
minutes etc. I don't text the drivers, as texting while driving is illegal I
believe. But I have had a driver call me once to
Hey guys,
Thinking of trying the uber app. Any of you used it? I'm all signed up
and everything.
I figured out how to enter my pickup location and everything. Does it
notify you when a driver is on the way and allow you to chat with them
via text? I haven't actually booked a ride yet.
Hi:
Here is another question for you. Uber isn’t in all the surrounding suburbs
yet. If my destination isn’t in one of their coverage areas, but my home is,
can I still use Uber to get to and from home?

Hi guys:
We just got Uber in my town! I have questions about the app that I cannot find
the answers to.
1. There is a pickup location home button, and a set pickup location button.
What is the difference?
2. At set pickup location, do you have to put in the street address? If you are
