are the benefits of having location services turned on?
I turned it off to all but the most obvious, like the gps apps, and then set
it to only be on on demand so to speak, not all the
time. I certainly took out adware that wants to send you location-targetted
ads, and various stuff like
location services settings quite thoroughly. Siri, Weather, and
GPS, maybe the find my iPhone thing; and that's it.

Hi all, besides the Obvious of using GPS services. I.E. Doodle maps or even
apple maps. What du you gain from having location services turned on? The
reason I ask, is because if there's nothing else I can gain from it, I'm
thinking of switching it off because I don't really use GPS apps all
