I know I am late on this one, but was the battery drain cause ever identified?
I am experiencing a similar drain of the IPhone 4g, but my wife does
not on her IPhone 3. although our phones are not totally identical,
mostly they are. the apps that we use over the WI FI are the same,

Well it has been a while now and my battery issues have completely been
resolved. I have absolutely no clue how or why. I still need to look at my
wife's phone, but I suspect I know what her issue is and it may be related to
either an incident she had or a corrupt install. However,

Are you saying this 3% per hour drop happens even with the screen locked?
That is definitely not happening here with a 4S that has the latest update
installed.

Just curious if anyone has noticed their battery dropping more quickly since
upgrading to 5.1.1. My wife who is not using VO and I have both noticed that on
average we are seeing a drop of about 3 percent per hour. We restored her phone
last night to see if this would correct the problem,

Yes this is even with the screen locked. I have not tracked it down to any
specific application, but of course the variables are so numerous it may be
difficult to track it down. Thus may require rebuilding from scratch, but
hopefully not necessary.
