I updated ios 6 this morning and synced my facebook to my calendar and
contacts. When I go into my calendar however, just before I double tap to
open it, the calendar says calender and announces today's date as usual, but
when I go in and have the view set to list and go through, it lists

In Settings/Notifications/Do Not Disturb, you will find all of the customisable
settings relating to DND.
regarding your calendar issue, it is possible in list view to scroll up a year
or more, so, you may find that the dates are all from 2011. I would suggest
flicking down using the
