I know I must just be missing a setting somewhere but I can't figure this out.
On my iPad in mail I can double-tap on the from field and then tap on ! from
email address and choose another email address to send from. But despite the
fact that I have the same email accounts on both my iphone 5
Cheryl, in order to change the email, do the following. when you open a message
to send, you see the to field, and then a from cc, etc. double tap where it
says Cc and you'll see the fields shown. Go to the from field, it will have an
address selected already, double tap that, and you'll have a
No, unless I'm misunderstanding a step, this doesn't work for me. I am using a
braille display so I'm not actually swiping. But while choices appear on my
ipad, they don't on my iphones; no picker appears.

I just tried this with my braille display. Use your cursor-routing key on the
from field. Then do a dots 4-5-6-chord to go to the bottom of the screen, and
the picker should be there. Unfortunately, I don't find a done button. I'd be
willing to bet that it appears when you show the keyboard.
My phone behaves differently. I double tap the from field, and I am placed in
the bcc field. I have to double tap 'from again to get the picker to show.
Once it is on the screen, I make my selection and simply double tap once I have
swiped to the desired email address. That selects it, no done
There usually isn't a done button for that, at least not on the ipad. Once
you make the choice you are just back out of the picker and into the email.

Using Braille, I press a routing key on the field that says from /cc. Then I
route on the from button, then space 4-5-6 to bottom of screen and the picker
becomes active. I only do this if I'm changing the from field for a reply.
Otherwise, I just open the account i want if it's a new message.
