and I've read a few GooglePlay books -- but I had to manually change
the page on those.
However, I don't know

Sometimes, when I am reading a book continuously in iBooks, a word or
a few words are repeated right after a page has been automatically
turned. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Is there an iBooks
setting I can alter to fix the problem?

Katey, you're right: the behavior is not particularly troublesome. I
am using an iPhone 3GS, and it may be that a later iPhone would be
more responsive. Just speculation on my part.
