Go to the App Store; at the bottom, there are several tabs such as Search, and at the very right bottom, there's one called Updates. Double-tap on that one, and the apps that need updating will show up. Either double-tap on Update All, or you can update one by one; flicking to the right, after

Hi, When I go into the app store and click on the update button I get a list of apps and it tell me what the fixes are going to be for each app. Then there is an open button for each app. So if I click the open button does that update that app? Then when I go back to the list of updated

Sounds like you double tapped on the Purchased button. Does the header on that page say Purchased? Do you have a button in the top left corner that says Updates, back button. If so, double tap on that. You should then have an update button next to each app that has an update to be installed as

Ed the device should update all apps in the background if you set it that way. If not go to the App Store double tap on updates tab and either double tap on update button next to each app or update all button to well update all apps listed. E-mail Facebook and iMessage

Updating an app on my iPod touch 4 and it didn't work

Hi, I performed an update on my iPod touch 4 the other day for an app and the update didn’t install for some reason. It says the install button is dimmed and I can’t find a way to cancil the update and start again so is there a way to get the update to reinstall? Jen -- You received
