Re: Can no longer clear individual items from history

2018-01-03 Thread Kathy Brandt
Hi, yes, I am talking about history in safari, when you go to bookmarks, and go
to history. I hadn’t been so good at clearing out recently; there were 534
items/chagrin. I wanted to be able to pick and choose what I wanted to keep in
history. Apparently when not using voice over, you can do this.

Usually I try to be good about clearing each day, but when I didn’t, I would
just go through and flick up to delete the items I didn’t want to stay in
history. Can no longer do this; I wonder why this changed? Since I had hundreds
of items in there from not clearing, I had to go and delete for all time. The
principle of the thing bothers me; the Apple rep said that not using voice

RE: connecting two UE roll speakers to my iPhone 7

2018-01-03 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
You will have to Google how to connect multiple speakers.
You will need to download an app to do this.

A quick Google search found this on www.UltimateEars.com:

YOUR PARTY BIGGER, BETTER, LOUDER
With our brand new and improved Ultimate Ears App, growing the party has never
been so easy and fun. Simply download the UE App to join and amplify your
Party. So no matter how big your party gets, you can connect 150+ UE BOOM, UE
BOOM 2 and UE MEGABOOM wireless speakers at the same time.

STEP 1: INVITE FRIENDS
Invite all your closest friends to bring their Ultimate Ears BOOMs and
MEGABOOMs together to #PartyUp

STEP 2: GET CURRENT
Make sure your Ultimate Ears App and speakers are running the latest and
greatest.

STEP 3: PARTY UP
Easily pair as many speakers as you can to take your parties to a whole new
level.

Good luck,
Sieghard

Hello. I received two UE Roll Bluetooth speakers for Christmas.
Someone was over here helping me connect them, and she thought that music was
coming out of both speakers; however, sound is actually only coming from one of
the speakers. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

RE: cannot view my audible wishlist in safari

Hi Chermeen,

Not sure except that maybe you want to reset your router in case your WiFi is
slow or you could try and turn WiFi off and use cellular data to access yoru
wishlist using Safari on the iPhone. I almost always use my PC when I look for
books and check my wishlist because I find it much faster given how I can use
keyboard navigation and navigation quick keys but I did just try it on my
iPhone and had no problems seeing my wish list. Hope it resolves itself for you.

Hi all,

I don't know if this is an IPhone issue, something to do with safari, or
something entirely unique to me, but for some reason I am no longer able to
view my audible wishlist in safari. Every time I click on my wish list link
(either by clicking on "view all in wishlist" or by clicking the link from the
main page that comes up on the mobile site), I get a message along the lines
of: Safari could not open the page, too many redirects occurred.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening? I used to be able to view it just
fine. I can view it on the full site, but that's a lot more cumbersome to
navigate on the phone.

Thanks in advance!

cannot view my audible wishlist in safari

2018-01-03 Thread Shermeen Khan
Hi all,

I don't know if this is an IPhone issue, something to do with safari,
or something entirely unique to me, but for some reason I am no longer
able to view my audible wishlist in safari. Every time I click on my
wish list link (either by clicking on "view all in wishlist" or by
clicking the link from the main page that comes up on the mobile
site), I get a message along the lines of: Safari could not open the
page, too many redirects occurred.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening? I used to be able to view
it just fine. I can view it on the full site, but that's a lot more
cumbersome to navigate on the phone.

Thanks in advance!

Shermeen

RE: Mail Message in the VO rotor

2018-01-03 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
It stays put on Messages unless you start reading a message by swiping right to
read all of it. As soon as I do that I have to first put the rotor back to
Messages before I can go to the next message in the thread.

Maybe I am just lucky, but when I first enter an email the rotor is on the
action menu. But once I change it to messages, I can flick through all of the
messages in the thread without any more fuss because the rotor stays put.

Happy New Year!

Did you report it to Apple? I have also noticed this quite some time ago and
sent an email to accessibil...@apple.com, but of course if more people report
this it is more likely to get fixed quicker.

I have noticed this and let me tell you it drives me crazy. I have to keep
turning the roder back to messages in order to go to the next message in the
thread. The only way I found to avoid this is to do a two finger swipe down to
read each message instead of flicking right.

Hi,

I submitted a request via their help centre and received a confirmation email,

The process of submitting a request online (I used the link to their Help

received was not too difficult with Jaws.

Hi All,

I am trying to reach lyft, but their help center contact support form is not
accessible. I can’t get passed the little thing after the form fields where it
asks for your namenumber email etc. the category picker is not accessible.

Does anyone have an email, or phone? I just tried
supp...@lyft.com, but that replies back to me that it
is no longer active.

Thanks for any advise.

Re: Finger print problem again, or still

2018-01-03 Thread regina alvarado

Tom, a few things Sieghard suggested to me when I was having this problem with
my 7. Are your fingers wet? Is your finger cut even slightly? As soon as I got
my fingers to heal up everything fixed itself. Not had this problem on my 8
Plus. Oh, one more thing. Move the position of your finger just a touch.
Sometimes that will work. I also have found this is more difficult to use when
hands are extremely dry, as mine are. I know exactly opposite of what I just
said, but seems too wet or too dry are bad for the sensor. My hands are like
sandpaper unfortunately so I have to keep using lotion on them and then wait
until my wrinkly fingers dry back out before the button works. If nothing like
this helps the problem I agree with Sieghard. A trip to see a genius may be in
your future. Sorry you are having this problem and hope my ramblings might help.

I know you solved your issue, but I just thought I'd comment and say

this out.

Re: solved problem syncing music on iPod from iTunes

2018-01-03 Thread Alan Lemly
I'm glad you solved your issue and thanks for sharing.

My issue is that when I purchase a song from the iTunes store on my iPhone 7,
add it to my iTunes library on my Windows 7 desktop computer, add it to my main
playlist which I have set to sync to my iPhone in iTunes, these directly
purchased songs are not synced. However, if I first convert them to mp3 format
in iTunes and then add them to that playlist, they sync just fine. I checked
for an iCloud setting under both music and iCloud in order to turn it off as
you suggested but I could not find such a setting.

I've had this issue going back over a couple of iOS versions but it still
persists under the latest Ios 11 version. I've even been on a long tech support
call with Apple Care but they weren't able to figure it out.

I've decided to purchase my music from Amazon due to this inconvenience but if
anyone has any suggestions on how to correct it, I'd very much welcome them.
I'm not a fan of streaming music but instead prefer to buy the tracks I like
one at a time and keep them on a playlist on my iPhone.

Maybe I am just lucky, but when I first enter an email the rotor is on the

I have noticed this and let me tell you it drives me crazy. I have to keep
turning the roder back to messages in order to go to the next message in the
thread. The only way I found to avoid this is to do a two finger swipe down to
read each message instead of flicking right.

solved problem syncing music on iPod from iTunes

2018-01-03 Thread Fanus
Hello list
Just in case someone else has the problem. For a few months I struggled to get
music on my PC to be synced to my iPod. I discovered that if the iCloud setting
in the music settings on the iPod is on then one can not get music onto the
iPod via iTunes. The moment that setting is switched off then the option to
sync music manually or automatically becomes available in iTunes. It is strange
that iTunes does not have a reminder that the setting on the iPhone must be
switched off to be able to sync music.
Regards
Fanus
