Hello Everyone,
Well, I was wrong. I truly thought that Apple would include a fingerprint
sensor on at least one of its devices in the iPhone 12 series.
I watched the entire presentation and could not help thinking, at its
conclusion, "But all I wanted was Touch ID."
I am so disappointed.
I will tell you that the 10R is the most solid phone I've ever owned all
around. So if you want a larger screen than what the SE has to offer,
don't throw in the towel until you take a good look at this phone.
Battery life is awesome, and it's only $499.

there a way to disable all visual and auditory notifications on the

I just need to disable everyting for the hour or so I am giving the

Any thoughts are greatly

I didn't think the XR had touch ID either?
Isn't it a face id device?

Hi Mark,
Thanks for posting this but Jefferson Graham got at least one of his facts
incorrect. About pricing, he says "The iPhone 12 doesn't sound that steep at
$799. But if you decide to spring for extra storage and Apple Care, as many do,
that will bring it to $1,298." The cost of an iPhone
I heard several years ago that 5G service would cost more than 4G service from
the carriers. I don’t know if this is true, but if so, that could be part of
their motivation.

Hi Les,
Seems to me the Verizon agent you spoke with neglected to tell you that the new
iPhone 12 models are backward compatible with 4G/LTE plans and you'd only need
to change your plan if you want to get 5G coverage. I think you'll be fine
keeping your plan and getting an iPhone 12 Mini. If
they have made mention of an SE3 coming early next year which would
feature a 6.1 inch screen and retain the touch ID. I can't imagine how
large the phone would be since there's going to be a home button, but
probably the same size at the pro max.

hi Simon,
Perhaps I should have been a little clearer. I am meant in terms of these
non-touch ID phones as far as good battery life and overall best bang for the
buck. Obviously, if a newer flag ship model included touch ID I would no longer

In a word, masks. That thing we all have to wear now when we go places or want
to board airplanes and such. For the record, I would love to have both face ID
and touch ID and a device, that way we have the ultimate choice.

Both would be nice, but Apple always does what Apple does, they will release a
feature when they are good and ready and for the most part it will then be very
well done.
Who brought Touch Id to phones, it was Apple and the same goes for Face Id.
Yes, some Android phones may offer both, but I
