RE: the Instant Pot bluetooth app works again.

2021-07-17 Thread Jim Portillo
I hate to bring this up again, but I wonder if the app is no longer updateable
again.
I tried updating the app two different days, and both days, it said that the
app couldn't connect to the app store. I have a Done buttor or a Retry button.
Of course, I also have the back button to go back to My Account. The last
update it had was July 7th.
I've been looking forward to getting this working again!

Is video editing accessible on the iphone?

2021-07-17 Thread Matthew Bullis
Hello, I'm planning on recording a video which will need trimming on the ends,
plus I want to cut a section out of the middle. It will be an unboxing, and I
want to take out boring bits. Will it also be possible to put two videos
together as one if I need to stop recording? I've not done this before, and
would just use the video recording on my iphone, unless there's another better
option.
Thanks, Matthew

Re: seven little words

2021-07-17 Thread Donna Casteen
Hi,

Woven Words & Tiny Little Crosswords are accessible. If you have good spacial
awareness on your device, Red Herring is playable. The game screen is cluttered
with the game category columns & the other games in the 1st game pack & a list
of other game pack names. If the developer would add haptic feedback Red
Herring would be more playable for those who are blind & use voiceover.

Re: Deleting emails.

2021-07-17 Thread Joseph Hudson
No. The easiest way to do that, is to go in and check each check box, on the
website mind you, you can do 50 conversations at a time. And then down below
each 50 conversations, there is a delete button.

RE: A Bluetooth Speaker question

2021-07-17 Thread Richard Turner
Well, the Sonos Roam, which is both Wi-Fi and Buetooth, has aprox. 10 hours of
battery life on a full charge, has tone settings if you go through the Sonos
app. You can turn on or off the Loudness feature that boosts the base for
everything; which I find will cause it to clip at anything but a very low
volume.

But, it actually has settings to adjust the base and treble on a slider that
works.
We have other Sonos speakers, so it made sense to get this one.
$169.

And has been pointed out, there are some very basic settings in the music app
on the iPhone. And quite a few pre-set settings for different styles of music
in there as well.

The Roam gives plenty of volume and has great sound.

Hello iPhone Listers,

I have a Bluetooth question. I own several speakers including a couple of Bose
ones. Unfortunately, none of my speakers offers the option to control the
amount of bass and treble being put out. Sometimes, I think the Bose units put
out too much bass. Does anyone have any idea what kind of speakers offers tone
options? Thanks in advance.

Hi there:

Thank you for getting back to me on this subject. I’m not having any trouble
ordinarily just when I press the home key and tell it to send a text message to
somebody usually when I take my hand off the honky, it will say or ask me what
I want to say which means the voiceover will do that. For some reason it’s not
focussing and reading and giving me vocal feedback. The voiceover is always on
so it seems to be working OK in other things just not with this situation. I do
not know if I accidentally pressed something or not as I’ve never gone in there
before. So I’m wondering if it is something else. If you have any further
advice it would be appreciated thank you so much cheers.

I get this issue too from time to time when using my wired Earpods. Actually,
these devices just like our computers mess up in a variety of ways from time to
time and if you have one that doesn’t, I expect you aren’t using it to its
capabilities. I expect this is especially true when using Voiceover which adds
another resource hit to the device. I have found that when having an issue with
Voiceover using my wired Earpods that unplugging them and swiping around on the
home screen a bit will get Voiceover functioning correctly again and it
continues to work when plugging the Earpods back in. If that doesn’t work for
you, doing a restart with the volume up and down and power buttons or powering
down as you’ve been doing is probably your best option. You might also try
turning Voiceover off and back on again.

RE: Voiceover issue on iPhone:

2021-07-17 Thread Alan Lemly
Alison,

Occasionally my Iphone will not talk when headphones are plugged in. No matter
how often I 3 finger tap and the only way of solving the problem is to turn off
the phone and re-start, then Voiceover returns.

I’d have thought headphones would be a physical issue rather than a software
issue.

Hi List Members:

I seem to be having an issue with the voice over on my iPhone, in that when I
press the home key, I hear the sound, but no voice feedback. I have been
sending text messages to friends, and family by pressing the home button, or
home key, and ordinarily I would hear voiceover say What do you want to say.
But today, I am not hearing that at all, just sound. As far as I know, I have
not pressed anything that would cause that to happen. So I am not sure what the
issue is. I would appreciate any assistance.

Thank you in advance.
