While it was Richard Petty who recommended it, I did a little research because
of Mark's question about why it costs so much.
The hard cover print edition is $41.83 on Amazon.
Its shipping weight is 7.5 pounds.
It is 2112 pages.
This app says it contains everything that is in the print edition.
Well, the subject line says it all. There is an update for the echo app on the
iPhone. At first, I thought maybe it was a little more accessible. I actually
got into the shopping list, which had one item that my husband put their

I did not notice any mention of Narrator.
I'm assuming that since the person was reviewing it from an accessibility stand
point, he was focused on more powerful, third party, screen readers. But, that
is only a guess.
I have not tried any version of Windows 10, but those whom I know that have,
that review didn't mention narrator did it? I read it once but it may have been
updated.

Hello Richard and Everyone,
I am so confused with regard to this thread.
Simply stated, does the twenty-four dollar app work well with VoiceOver with no
problems such as hearing the word, link, after each entry? Also, what makes
this app so expensive? that is to say, what does one get for thi

Andy,
I've only ever used the Farlex Dictionary app on an iPhone 5 and iPhone 6.
The app is mostly informational and doesn't seem to tax the device so I
assume it should run just fine on the 4S especially if it's running iOS 7.

Here is an article in MacWorld that talks about the new look for Apple music in
iOS nine. One thing they have changed which I do not like is that now, you can
start a radio station without having to put the song you're station is based on
into my music. With iOS nine, at least in the beta being

This is only a thought. When I get that nagging message that no text has been

I've been doing a lot of reading and listening about Windows 10 and

The American Heritage 5th edition is the one that Richard Petty recommended.
It is $24.99.
The Dictionary.com app is also very good.
So is the Mariam Webster dictionary.

Hi all, so far in this thread I have searched for the American heritage
dictionary and the lexicon dictionary. Do you all happen to have links for the
dictionaries you got? There are several results and I'm not sure which one to
pick. Thank you and God bless, Wren Langley
