Hello Keith,

There was an update to the Overdrive app, today.

Your question is difficult to answer, at least, in my opinion.

Let me say the following:

While I like the app for reserving and downloading/enjoying audio books from my 
local library system, I do have some residual vision that plays a role in my 
Overdrive experience.

2.
While the app is certainly VoiceOver accessible, I cannot say that it is 
particularly VoiceOver friendly--especially for someone who is totally blind.

3.
The app is best when use frequently as muscle memory, with regard to the layout 
and functionality of the app, can greatly enhance one's experience.  

My overall point of view is that one can never learn too much or have too many 
proverbial tools in his/her toolbox so, if you have the time and energy, give 
the app a spin.  Having said this, I would not generally recommend it for 
anyone who does not consider themselves an advanced VoiceOver user.

This is just my opinion, of course.

Hi I may be able to help since I will be acquiring my first ever Bose bluetooth 
speaker today bought from Apple directly.

There should be a dedicated bluetooth button on your particular speaker, there 
is on mine which will be the Soundlink Colour. You press this button, and it 
should go into pairing mode just like that. If your particular speaker has 
voice prompts like mine will, you should hear "ready to pair".

Has anyone tried using the GrubHub app lately

It seems that though they have updated, they still have the problem we're by if 
you choose a menu item with in a restaurant, at least I, get booted out of the 
app and back into the folder where I have it. I have tried communicating about 
this with them,. they claim that they have replied, though I haven't gotten any 
of the replies because they're not realizing that their emails haven't gone out 
to my Comcast address. It is really ridiculous.

Someone on here said that they have become a part of something called seamless: 
is anyone who uses the seamless app having the same problem? Thanks.

Rose, sometimes this happens to me with my UE Boom Bluetooth speaker. I found 
that the easiest way to resolve this error is to find the more info button next 
to the name of your speaker, and double tap it. After that, you're looking for 
the option that says forget to device. You're going to be asked if you're sure, 
and when you are, hit the OK or yes button. I forget which one it is now. 
Anyway, then re-pare the speaker as normal. When this happens to me, and I 
forget the device, and then start all over again, things usually fix 
themselves. I don't think many speakers have a specific button that you need to 
press in order to pare them, other than the on button, but yours could be 
different than mine. I'm sorry I can't help you with specifics on how to pare

the All Access Package, you can listen to Sirius XM on your home radio and on 
the app. But if you don’t have All Access, you’ll only be able to listen to it

I'm not sure which Bose speaker you have, but on my bose Soundlink, I press and 
the button on the far left top of the speaker until I hear ready to pair. Then 
I find the device under blue to on my phone.

Bose Bluetooth speaker

I somehow disconnected my Bose Bluetooth speaker, tried to reconnect with no
luck, probably because I pushed an incorrect button, I'd like it to work
again!  Can someone tell me which buttons I need to use to reconnect this
please?  It was done at the store in October 2014 and never had a problem
until today.  Plugged in, battery was well earlier.

How is accessibility in the Overdrive app?

Is anyone using the Overdrive app? It's used by our local library for e books 
and audio books. When I first tried it, several years ago, it was quite painful.

Did you just turn off the phone? If not, I would try the holding wake/sleep 
button and home button together for about 8 seconds or until it turns off. You 
can check by moving the mute button down and back up to unmute. If you feel a 
vibration the phone is still on. Once you let go, the phone will reboot on its 
own. Seems to me I had this happen, but I do not remember what I did to stop 
it. Hope this clears for you soon.

Plex, can iPhone be the server?

Hello, I downloaded the Plex app for my iPhone & logged in.  I’m curious, is 
this a way I can stream my media onto Apple TV?  My entire music library is on 
my iPhone, so can Plex draw from that library?

I’m a bit confused by this concept.  Is Plex limited to my Mac remaining on?

Please, I need help with Ipad Mini

Hello list,
I am asking for help on behalf of my friend which is not on this list.
She purchased Ipad 4 mini a few weeks ago and everything seemed to be 
working fine until last night.
When she wants to use Ipad on battery, it does not turn on. As soon as 
she plugs it to the power, Ipad turns on without any issues and even 
battery is fully charged. When she turns Ipad off, unplug it and it is 
runing on the battery, AND SHE TURNS IT OFF, it does not turn BACK on 
although battery is fully charged.
All the same happens when she tries to do reset by holding down home and 
power button. When on the battery, it does not work, but HAVING plugged 
it to the power, it works absolutely fine.

Please, does anyone know any workaround or any suggestions?

When I attempted to install it when it was first released, it was useless 
with VoiceOver.  They must not be getting a lot of people to install it, 
being that the streaming free and NBA games are new promotions.  When I 
wanted to install it, the only extra promotion I would have gotten were 
three extra gig of data.
