I'm very happy with my Anker battery. I'm certain it's the same one you have Kevin. The button on the side near the top is the only control on the batttery. I would need to use a light detector app to tell if the led flashlight was on or off. There isn't any way to tell how much charge is in

To restart the watch: Hold in the friend button for a couple of seconds and you will get a pop up screen. Just swipe to power off and double tap. It does take a couple of minutes to totally power off. Once off, just hold in the friend button for about 2 seconds and release to start the watch
