Double tap on the card beside the pack and then tap on the card where you want to play it. Say the card next to the pack is a 5 of diamonds and there is a 4 or a 6 that is exposed, double tap on the 5 and then double tap on the 4 or the 6 to play the card, those will disappear and a new card

TapTapSee does as good a job as any of them. Plus, it tries to say what the pattern is. Another one to look at I think is called inspector. But, color identification with the iPhone camera is a good guess at best since it depends a lot on lighting and won't likely be as good as a stand-alone
