Hi all,
Lately voiceover on my iphone 6 stops suddenly. Have experienced this
majorly while sharing attachments, documents from notes, mails etc.
via whatsapp. Not sure of the nexus, but have noticed this mainly
after installing the IOS 11 update.
Any idea or workarounds?

Hi, thank you for your help. Certainly appreciate it. She is not a voiceover

In my humble opinion, that is the only thing KNFB Reader has over Seeing AI.
No, you cannot at this time.
Though, you can recognize a document and then copy and paste it into another
app, scan the next page, copy and add that to the previous, etc.

Hello Wendy,
As to the part where no one hears her, I would confirm that the
microphone is not muted. To do this, answer the call and take the
phone away from the ear to envoke the speaker phone if she is a

to clarify, the ACB did not sue. the organization threatened a lawsuit

Hi, hope someone can help with this. My sister has an iPhone 6 ass. When she

Hello Gorden,
I have had this issue as well. I can’t figure out why this works but restart
your device and the sounds will come back for notifications . The only issue is
that you might have to do this restart every couple of days/weeks. I can’t seem
to find a good fix for this particular
Hi Sieghard
Thanx for your reply, a simple reboot of the app solved my problem.

Add to all this that from the little I know, Seeing AI is the only
app/platform I have heard of that can even recognize handwriting at

been able to recognize handwriting. At the training center I work at,

Yes, I have noticed that it is broken.
Have you or anyone called their tech support to let them know about it?
I haven't, but this makes me think I should since it is happening to
other people besides just me.

Interestingly enough, a recent kim Komando article said that nothing is
accomplished or helped by closing apps in the app switcher, that supposedly
apps are frozen when not in use, and do not consume any system resources.

Peg, I am in total agreement with you. Just aggravates me so much because I am
67 years old and grew up with relatively no technology at all. Now things are
so much better and yet it appears that some of the blind people are never
satisfied.

Upon reflection, you are not mistaken about tracking daily points. Go ahead

Hi Nancy,
It appears to have been pretty much fixed. It’s working a lot better than it

Hi Donald,
Here you go:
From: Sieghard Weitzel
Recalibrate your battery by draining it so the battery gets so low that the
phone shuts off, then plug it in & charge it overnight. Now use the phone
again until the battery gets so low it turns off again at 0%, and then
charge it up again
Hi,
I think it’s very interesting that some blind people complain when they don’t

Has anyone else noticed that they broke the accessibility when they went to the
“freestyle “program? I can no longer get my day page to work. I’m talking about
the page where you track your points. I want to make sure it’s not just me
before I give them feedback.
Thanks

Nancy Badger,
A couple of weeks ago, someone (possibly Kliph) posted instructions for
calibrating the battery in an iPhone. My 6 is running IOS 11.2.1, and I
now notice precipitous drops in battery percentage. I can't say just
when this started, but I do recall that I was running an earlier
incarnation of
If Microsoft has figured out how to do this I am surprised nobody else has done

Hands up to Richard. I totally agree.
The thought of being able to read hand writing has always been just a dream.
As Richard has said. If you have been totally blind for all your life or most
of your life this technology it great.
We take what we can get and Seeing AI is giving it all to us.
I assume the answer is no, but I'd like to confirm. Is there a way to
recognize multiple pages in Seeing AI similar to KNFB Reader? That is,
recognize a number of pages of a document in succession and then save
them all? This is one of the useful features of KNFB reader and, at this
point, one
Apparently it isn't a notetaker, though. Just a display.

I think you are talking about the braille me display. It’s not a note taker,
per se, more a small display for use with computers and phones.. As far as I
know, it won’t be out til January… I don’t have any more info then that..

Aside from checking all the settings like push on email, background activity,
closing apps out of the app switcher, how old is your device?
You may need to contact Apple, or if possible, take it in to get it thoroughly
checked out.

since iOS 11 came out, I noticed that VoiceOver doesn't announce the

when I get a twitter notification. I don't know which app version was
