Anthony, you can ask Siri to turn on Do Not Disturb when you start listening to
music, then once you're done you can ask Siri to turn it off. I also urge you
to look at the many ways you can configure it in Settings.

Hi,
Pages should also be able to open it, and it comes free with on your iPhone. If
she deleted it, she can reinstall it.

Hello,
Your friend will be able to open the word file with Pages. That should already
be installed, If not it is free from the App Store.
Thanks,

Hi.
I sent a friend of mine a Word file. She's going to try to read it on her
iPhone. I have a real basic question, and I should have thought of asking
before I sent it. Can you do this without having to pay for an app? It's an
attachment, and I don't know what email app she's using. If it's
Regarding reading Braille with Voice Dream Reader and Bookshare files, Because
Bookshare files are in Daisy format, your options for reading are to use voices
or read the text which becomes Grade two braille if yo set your device to show
Braille output. Bookshare files don't need to be BRF
I didn’t think of that.
Thanks

As far as I know, the answer would be no.
You can use a braille display and read files in Bookshare, but not brf or brl
files.

Is there a way I could make a shortcut to turn those notifications off?

When Read-to-go was released back in, I think 2012, Voice Dream Reader had not
yet appeared in the APP store, and when it did, it offered such ease in using
Bookshare that we all abandoned Read-to-go in favor of the better APP. I can't
say enough good things about Voice Dream Reader. Trust me
I should have said control+tab if we're being all technical about it. Jaws 2019
and Outlook2016.
Either way, it seems that whatever was going on has resolved itself.

This feature is not officially released as of yet. I would expect that the bugs
will be smooth out here in the next couple of weeks. I think the HomePod update
is being released on the 30th of this month.

That is correct.
If you use MBraille or Flicktype, you will hear nothing while typing.
So, if you use a third party keyboard, do not update on the 19th, or on the
30th, unless you hear that is fixed.

Hi List,
I've heard from a third party keyboard developer that iOS 13 has some issues
with those using third party keyboards and Voiceover. I would caution those
doing so from upgrading immediately until these issues are resolved. I know

this is a known problem with some large threads.

I have occasionally experienced this with extremely large threads. However, I

as delete them. I am not sure what you use which requires you to press tab to

I like with voice dream reader that you can purchase voices to listen
to your bookshare books. They certainly have a lot of voices to
choose from.

The app is no longer supported. That came directly from Bookshare.
It had not been updated in over 2 years.
Your main choices now are Dolphin easy reader, or Voice Dream Reader.
Voice Dream Reader has far more features than does Dolphin.
But, if reading with iOS voices is
