Hi,
I also endorse Weather Gods and its developer as being one of the most
responsive I've ever encountered. I find The Weather channel to be accurate
both with temperature and weather alerts. It is free but has a paid
subscription to go ad free should one wish to do so.
Take good care.
I too use Weather Gods and the native Weather app.
Right now, for my part of Portland, they both say it is 38 degrees.
With Weather Gods I can set it to a fire station that is about 8 blocks from my
house.

Hi Ann,
Reader View is a simplified view that shows text and links without a lot of
extraneous information. It's great for reading news articles, for example. To
turn it on or off, choose the Format Options button at the top of the screen,
and use the Reader button to turn it on or off.
Best,
What does "Reader available" in Safari mean? How does one make use of it?
Thx

Anthony, you really do need to make your subject match what you are asking.
But, under VoiceOver speech settings, the voice you select under Voice is the
default voice.
You can then add other voices on the rotor.
Updating over Wifi is fine if you have enough room on your device, though some

If you are using format 4, then you have to download your book in
parts, but if you use the enhanced format, then you can choose to
download your book as one part. What book are you trying to download?
The only book I've heard that is that large and has so many parts is
a version of the Bible.
Hi to all. For the last couple of days, when using one of my

Somewhere, a long time ago, I set my books to always download as one part.
You may want to call their customer service, which is usually quite good, and
see if they can help sort out your issue, and if you want, to get books as one

Hi all.
Has anyone else ran in to this issue? I'm downloading a book that has 10 parts.
The download gets stuck so it keeps trying... well, now each part has
duplicated itself. I'm trying to delete the parts but cannot. I'm trying to
cancel the downnload but again cannot. Any suggesttions?
Lazarillo is worth a look at. It is free. It can provide turn-by-turn walking
directions within the app or you can choose to use Google or Apple Maps for the
walking directions.
If you are navigating for a driver, it can launch Google or Apple Maps for
those turn by turn directions.
Lazarillo
I’ve never found it very usable in York! Try Lazarillo, which does provide
rough turn by turn directions and is free. Or Blindsquare (paid) and rely on
Google Maps for the link to get directions.
