Re: Tune-in App Behaving Badly

2020-04-14 Thread Arnold Schmidt
It also happens on this iPhone 6 with Ootunes. In the many years I have had
Ootunes on here, it probably hasn't happened ten times, but ironicly, it
happened yesterday afternoon. Maybe one or two minutes after I have stopped
using the phone and locked the screen, Ootunes will start playing a station,
not necessarily the one I was playing the last time I was using it. There is no
way anybody will be able to reproduce this bug, it happens so randomly and
infrequently. I call it an annoyance. Now that I think about it, it may have
happened a time or two with the music app, also. Hey, it is a new Apple
feature, my device so wants to entertain me.

Donna has it right.
Any link that is not directly through the IRS web site could be a fraudulent

I've never heard of w h i o dot com.
These kinds of pages crop up all over the place.
That may well have been a legitimate link, but I would only trust going through

Re: What are the differences in the different versions of the airpods

2020-04-14 Thread Shai
Hello,
I had the airpods pro for sometime which are the most current version.
I did not like a few things about them:
1. noise canceling seemed too heavy when used for extended period
(more than an hour of time).
2. They could not be paired to multiple devices at once. This made it
difficult when paired with my pc and I would get a phone call for
example.

If you have done a 2 finger double tap, that will start audio unless you are
answering a phone.
You may also want to make sure raise to wake is off under display and

Subject: Tune-in App Behaving Badly

I have the Tune-in app, the free version.

Now and then, when I pick up my iphone (SE), or just seemingly out of nowhere,
a station I've listened to ages ago will start playing. The app isn't in my
"App switcher", so the only way I can get it to quit is to turn off my phone.

Any ideas on what might be going on, besides maybe a poltergeist?

check it out first before I click on this link below and fill out anything.

bugs and strange behaviors. I could not even get to the normal view of normal

By any chance, do you have a large font set?

Hi folks

In some dialogues it is hard to find settings by flicking right. For example:
the voiceover dialogue. You can easily read all stuff but after the speech rate
setting, flicking right you are brought back to the beginning of the dialogue.
However there is much more stuff that can be set. You can only reach that by
holding your finger on the screen and sweep down to the audio or speech
settings and then flick or double tap again. Can this bug be confirmed? In my
oppinion this is a tramendous focus bug that needs to be reported as much as
possible.

After having waited for 8 months now I eventually updated my phone and this is
the first bug I come across that had never been mentioned before.

Regards

Davy

physical sim card tray empty. Anytime I travel overseas, I just buy a local
sim card in the country I am visiting and put in the sim card tray. The phone
recognizes that there is a new line added and asks me if I want the new line to
be my primary number or secondary number. I usually keep the new temporary
number as secondary but I also choose that my outgoing calls be made from the
secondary number. When I return back to the US, I take the temporary physical
sim card out and revert back to my ATT electronic sim card primary number.
If you have more questions, please do not hesitate.

RE: bug in settings dialogue ios 13.4.1

2020-04-14 Thread Richard Turner
I do not have that issue.
By any chance, do you have a large font set?

That can mess VoiceOver up when it comes to flicking.

Subject: bug in settings dialogue ios 13.4.1

Hi.

I’m curious if I could use iPhone headphones with the mic in them on a PC? This
includes ear buds. I know they’d need a 3.5mm plug on them.

Just curious.

Hi folks

I am still on ios12 but I am eventually planning to update my phone.

What about the sticky notification bug, I hear mixed reactions about this bug.

I know people that do not have this bug or they do maybe not use too much push
notification apps.

Is maybe this bug app related? A friend of mine confirms this annoying issue
but she tells me that for some apps, messages are sticky while for other apps
everything seems to work normal at all. So is it maybe app related? Even in
ios12, notifications of the native calendar app are sticky even other meanwhile
notifications won’t come through if you don’t delete a calendar reminder. and I
have an app earthquake which does the same thing. When the loud sound comes up
when a quake has been reported you have to delete the message before other
notifications will come in.

Any experiences?

concerns have been aired on the applevis web site. The situation seems serous

bug in settings dialogue ios 13.4.1

2020-04-14 Thread Davy Cuppens

Regards
Davy

RE: what about the sticky notification bug

2020-04-14 Thread Debby
I agree with Sieghard. If the notification stays and is in the way I go up to
it and do a one-finger flick up to “dismiss” and voila it’s gone from the
screen.

I find the lack of tracking in email to be more annoying than the notification
thing.

Take care!

Apple card payments

2020-04-14 Thread Tom Rash
When making a payment on my Apple card, it takes funds from my Apple cash
first and then takes from my checking account if needed.

I got a new phone last week. Now when making a payment to my Apple Card, it
takes from my checking account only. How do I change it to take from my
Apple cash again?

Hi Vicky,

More to the left and beside the z key,
A is in the next row above the a.

Subject: location of the shift key

Hi,

Can someone tell me where the shift key is located on the IOS keyboard for a
sighted person? For me, it has always been right next to the letter A, but my
husband is not seeing it when he uses the phone without voice over.

Thanks.

Vicki
