Re: How does your Voiceover pronounce yesterday after the iOS 13.4 upgrade?
I mentioned this issue earlier today when I called Apple Accessibility on an unrelated matter. That advisor hadn't heard of and could not duplicate the problem. I downloaded the update this evening and I too have both Samantha and Siri pronouncing yesterday as yestertay. So I called Apple Accessibility back to report it. Again this advisor had not heard of this issue. It would seem that the more people who are experiencing the problem and contact Accessibility the better. It would be ood to get it as a topic trending on their feed. I did call them Tuesday and got through without a problem, however, I've been working for sometime with a specific rep on a set of technical issues. So far calling from Canada (in the region roughly defined as Toronto/NewYork) the majority of our calls seem to be answered in the Southern United States (Florida and Texis are the two I'm sure about) so maybe that area is having problems. > On Mar 19, 2020, at 8:17 PM, Anne West wrote: > Thank you. Play a Single Song?
Good day, I was wondering is there a way to play just one song/MP3 file once only? If there isn't a way (that I am missing) built into music is there an accessible app that would allow you to do this easily? I am running IOS 12.41. Any advice and/or suggestion would be much appreciated, Thank You, Joy -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. Re: Sims cards
Dear Sieghard, Thank you for including the correct spelling for these devices. I always wondered if I was getting it right, ... after over a year I will now be able to. I really appreciate this, a lot. Thanks, Joy On Feb 14, 2020, at 11:01 AM, Sieghard Weitzel wrote: I agree, I highly doubt it will be called iPhone 9, more likely is SE 2 or maybe iPhone 11 with some other designation at the end. By the way, Georgie, iPhone is spelled as one word starting with a lower case “i” followed by an upper case “P” and the rest of the word Phone again I lower case. The same applies to iPad, iPod Touch, iOS etc., always start with a lower case i then upper case P then back to lower case. Only in the case of iOS is both the O and the S upper case. As far as generations between the SE and the upcoming new SE, it’s just really 3 generations: iPhone 7 released in the fall of 2016 iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X released in the fall of 2017 iPhone XS/XS Max and XR released in the fall of 2018 The new iPhone SE 2 would be the fourth generation after the iPhone 6S/6S Plus and SE along with the iPhone 11, 11S and 11S Max which were released last fall, but it will have the same processor, but is supposed to still have a virtual home button with Touch Id instead of Face Id, it will have the smaller 4.7 inch screen and form factor of the iPhone 8 and it may have a slightly less advanced camera system, but that we won’t really know until Apple makes the announcement. I guess some people call it the iPhone 9 because it will basically be an iPhone 8 with a current A13 processor, maybe a bit more RAM and maybe a better camera. The iPhone SE which came out half a year after the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus actually differed in other ways, it had the processor as the 6S/6S Plus, but it was smaller, it still had the same first generation Touch Id home button of the iPhone 5S and 6/6 Plus and it did not have 3D Touch capabilities. Often they can do that for you. Rumors abound concerning a new, lower cost, iPhone to come out this Spring, whatever you want to define as Spring. The names rumored have been iPhone 9, which would be stupid in my very biased opinion, or the SE2 which isn’t much better, but would make more sense. The importance of this new phone, if it exists, is that it will have the same processor as the iPhone 11, which is many times newer than in the SE. The SE is equal to the 6S in specs, so between then and now, you had the iPhone 7, 8, X, and 11. Not to mention the XR which came out a couple months after the X. HTH, As I have often said, no one knows what Apple is going to do until they make an official announcement. Is this possible and why? What would be so important about going back instead of forward? This is confusing and a little strange even for Apple! I was leaning that way but I did want to check that I wasn't missing something "obvious". I take it I'm not so I will.
