Actually you can use the notifications area and you'll find your go back,
pause and fast-forward buttons. The only thing we don't have is the two
finger double tap to start and stop.

Your method seems to be the only way to really narrow it down to the NFL teams,
but it would be much better if they put them in alphabetical order.

Yes. When listening to a stream, if you pause the stream and resume
later, swipe through the screen to the Go Live button and double tap.
This will jump from wherever you are when you paused to the current
point in the game, if that makes sense. I did this a couple of times
yesterday when listening to the deplorable Cowboys performance. To be
fair, Seattle had their own struggles too, even though they won, :)

Hi Wayne,
I am glad you wrote about this, as I hope you can assist. Yesterday, I was
listening to the Bills game on the Sirius XM app. At half time, I turned the
game off. Once the second half started, I went back to the channel. It picked
up where I left off. I could not find a way to alter this behavior. I wound up

Re: Vuffalo Vills Sirius App

2020-09-27 Thread Duane Steele
SiriusXM has the NFL games on the iPhone APP now, and the best way to find what
you're looking for is to open the APP and go to sports. There's a whole section
on games in progress and it's random and not consistent, so you'll have to
scroll around to find the broadcast you want to hear.

Wow Alan!

I believe I have the Internet Package but I am not able to find any of the
local baseball or football teams when I do a search. I went to the link that
was suggested in another post and found the channel that the Tampa Bay Bucks
are supposed to be on but when I did a search for it on the app, it wouldn’t
come up. Oh well!

I’m going to keep this phone # that you provided in case I need it somewhere
down the road!

Debbie,

I have an iPhone 8. Sorry I forgot to include that in my post. And you're right
about the different Sirius XM service packages. I have the internet radio
service which normally sells for $15.99 a month plus additional charges for US
music licensing. However, my experience has been that you should never pay more
than $5 a month for Sirius XM. After my initial period where I was paying full
price was about to end and automatically renew, I called their cancellation
telephone number at (866) 635-2349 and was offered the $5 a month for 6 months
when I said I couldn't afford the regular price.

Hi Alan,

May I ask what model of Iphone you are using? I have a 5S running the latest
IOS and on the Sirius app, I now get something that says: square underscore
audio button in my list of favorites and recently played items. The channel
labels used to be read by VO before the latest update to the app.

Also, don’t you have to have a sports package in order to get sports channels?
I have a Sirius account but don’t get baseball or football channels as you’ve
described.

Thanks!

I'll add to Debby's comments. The Sirius XM app works very well. I just
searched on Memphis Grizzlies and got the play by play channel 894 for it. Like
any of these media services with hundreds of channels, the challenge is
learning the ones you want. But once you've identified them, you can add them
to your Favorites by executing the contextual menu button next to it in your
search results list. Also, you can ask Alexa to play any of these channels if
you have a Sirius account. Just say Alexa, play channel 894 on Sirius XM. Since
the Grizzlies aren't playing right now, I was switched to a generic sports feed.

Hi Fred,

I don’t know of an easy way to do this, but for baseball the play-by-play
channels start at channel. 840. So if you go to the search tab and search for
“ch 840” that will take you to the Atlanta Braves channel, and you can just
keep pressing “next” until you get to the team you want.

You can also search for example “Pittsburgh Pirates Hometown play-by-play,” and
that should get you to what you want.

If you go to the website for SiriusXM
siriusxm.com/nflschedule.com
You can see all the games and at the relevant channel numbers. No I am not
using the app. I am using an Alexa device with my serious subscription
connected. But I see no reason why you couldn’t type in the channel number that
you want it for the team he wanted and go directly there using that app.

RE: Baseball and football on Sirius app?

2018-09-06 Thread Alan Lemly
