I am guessing that so many people have an abundance of chargers laying around
that it is no longer necessary to include an AC charger.
If a person does not have a spare charger
Apple says it is for the environment because most people have all the chargers
they need and more.
That is certainly true in our household.
I happen to agree with Apple in this case.
We have enough (Expletive deleted) stuff in the landfills and ocean now to last
many life times.
