Lidar is a whole new sensor they put in the 12 series, other than the mini.
I don't know a lot about it, but it is way more than the camera.

No. LiDar is only on the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. I don't think that the other
phones have the camera strength and processing power to handle LiDar.
