Once you've reached the end of a Kindle book, it puts you in a "before you

you might like, etc. You need to feal near the top left corner of the

Is there a way to get the Kindle books to display page numbers rather than
sections or percentages or is that strictly book dependent? Some of my books
allow me search by page, others by section.
Thanks.

Hello list,
I have a question regarding kindle and kindle books.
When I purchase a kindle book and Ihave it stored in kindle app on my

harddrive or on a flashdrive as a file?
Thanks for help in advance.

One way to do this is by installing the Kindle PC app. I am not sure
if this exists for the Mac though.

Hi Maria,
If you want to literally transfer the file without benefit of a Kindle app,
then I believe the answer is no. Kindle books are encrypted. I don't know of
any way to get that off of the iPhone.
However, if you want to try to read the book in a Kindle application, then yes,
you can do
I don't think you can do this from the iPhone Kindle app. I have an old Kindle
keyboard and I can transfer files to the hard drive easily from that. I imagine
that is also true of the current Kindle stand-alones but I don't know that for
sure.

Yes you can sync books and magazines accross devices as long as you have them
on the same iCloud and the kindle app setup with the same login info. I use my
iPhone to get books for my kids. You'll have to go to settings, iCloud and
turn on share books accross devices.

Buy books at Amazon .com. Books vary in price between suppliers you'll need to
do some comparison shopping. Amazon's Kindle store and barnes and noble's Nook
have magazines. You can do a trial subscription to see if they are accessible.

With Kindle, do you go to Amazons site, and from there, where do you search? Or
