Hi,
You are the third person running I have seen using a Focus 14 with this issue
on an iPhone today. I wonder if you are running IOS 11.3 or a beta? The other
two were running the latest beta of IOS 11. I wonder if this is a bug that
needs reported to Apple.

everytime i want to connect the braille, i have to forget the device first,
then re connect, it sometimes work. but if i screen off and then unlock again
the phone, keeping focus 14 on, no automatic reconnect. so i need to forget
again, then connect again. everytime.
