If Direct Touch is actually on, when the 7 Little Words app is opened voiceover
will speak "Direct Touch On." Voiceover will not say anything just by touching
the screen. If Direct Touch is Not turned on there will not be any response
from voiceoverwhen touching, tapping or swiping.

In terms of the guess button, it will only appear once you have
selected your first group of letters.
As to your other question about it saying dimmed, I've never seen
that. Perhaps you should try and close the app in the app switcher and
then opening it again.

After the 7 clues I have 2 buttons, clear and shuffle.
Then I have the letter choices. And at the very bottom I have a get a hint
