Those were type of issues I had with my Booksense when reading daisy books
from Bookshare.

I've never seen that happen
Hi!
I didn't have the problem you mention with iOS 7 and VDR but
something similar was happening to me on my old iPod Touch 4G with
iOS 6.x and Acapela Eliska.
While reading, VDR often skips the large parts of the text. I didn't
test this with other TTS because I
Yes, I have, and neither of those things help, unfortunately. My next step is
to delete Kate, and reinstall her, which I've done. I haven't done a lot of
testing yet, but things seem to be all right so far (knock on wood).
Thanks,
Ari

Have you cleared out the app switcher and rebooted the phone lately?
What you are describing is really strange.
I hope you get it resolved.

Thanks,
Ari

on occasion. And I have not noticed any of the things you are talking about. I
use James and Kendra for my preferred reading voices. Good luck. I hope you can
solve it.

I'm using Neospeech Kate. I'll switch to another voice I have, probably
Neospeech James, and see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away with
James. I'll probably uninstall and reinstall Kate, and see if things get better
with her.
Two other very odd issue is that, when reading, and
I've never seen that happen.
I've been reading quite a lot lately.
What voice are you using?

Voice Dream Reader has been doing two things lately that are highly
frustrating. I've closed and restarted the app, as well as turned my iPhone off
and on, with no success at fixing these issues. The first is that, when
reading, Voice Dream Reader will suddenly stop reading, then continue
