Re: Weird problem with Braille Screen
Hi all I went to the Apple store and after reseting and finally erasing the iPhone we discovered that when I reloaded the data from the backup file on iCloud the problem returned. I am now rebuilding my folders and reinstalling my purchases. Though it's a pain in the but at least we are doing a kind of spring cleaning., The Braille screen now works as it should. Thanks for the help. P.S. My wife is enjoying her Apple Watch which came before mine. I'm still waiting. -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. Yes, I had the same problem when I updated to IOS#8. As a result, I had to reset everything by hand, including the apps. from purchases in the app. store. Re: Weird problem with Braille Screen
I'd first try a reset: go to your Home Screen, then hold the home and lock buttons both in for 12 or 13 seconds. Let the phone boot back up, and ten see if the problem persists. Re: Weird problem with Braille Screen
Hi Richard. Thanks for pointing this out. Haste does make waste. In fact, I took 2 steps. I double tapped on the edit field to activate it and then attempted to turn the router to the Braille input screen. At this point my iPhone goes into a loop saying VoiceOver on and it then becomes choppy.. I checked and the regular keyboard is present. Once the loop starts if you lay the phone flat it says tabletop modeand stops repeating. If you place it back into the away position it starts all over again. Very strange.
