i have 4s 8gb i am thinking to update it to ios 8.1but have some doubts :
1. How much space will left with me for apps and music after the fresh
installation.
2. is it useable with vo on iphone 4s?
3. other then what's app and caller id anouncing
IOS 8.1 and VO will work on an iPhone 4S 8G. You'll need quite a bit of
free space to install IOS 8.1 (less if you use iTuens from your Mac or
PC), but once it's installed, you won't have any less space. There are

I have worked with two individuals with the iphone4s and ios8.1 and the phones
are not stable with voiceover. I suggest you wait until ios8.1.1 as this update
will fix performance issues on iphone4s devices.

I have IOS 8.1 on my 4S, and I don't find it unstable. There are some
bugs, but they're mostly the same bugs affecting all devices. That being
said, if you haven't updated by now, I'd still recommend waiting for IOS
8.1.1.

I never had to do a hard reset to get VoiceOver back on my iPhone 4S,
but the 8.1 update definitely resolved most of the issues with VoiceOver
restarting.
