I am using an iPhone 4s. I cleared out the app switcher. I powered the phone down and turn the phone back on. I tried something else. I cleared out the history in iTunes radio, and that seemed to help a bit. However I can only listen to a station for about 45 minutes at a time is this normal

I agree with your points, but there's never been a lack of competition for Pandora in the radio streaming space. A lot of what I like about iTunes Radio though has to do with it's integration into the OS, the lock screen, the Control Center and so on. I wonder how much of this is available
